After 57 years from its founding, the congregation of Saint Stephen Lutheran Church in Antioch IL held its final worship service on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

During the service, all remaining properties and interests were transferred to the denomination (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America/ELCA), and the congregation formally disestablished.
