Messy Church for July 2018

We continue with the theme "Caretakers of the Earth" for our July 2018 session of Messy Church, with Part II being "Little Wigglers & Crawlers".

In Part I, we created and planted our church "Sharing Garden", to grow produce to share with the Food Pantry of Antioch's "Open Arms Mission".

In Part II, we will learn about things that wiggle and crawl in our church garden by having a Scavenger Hunt.

If you've never been to Messy Church, imagine learning stories about God and His world in a room filled with people of all ages, crafts, food, laughter, and love. Each session unfolds by visiting each of the following, tied to the theme:

• Chill: Family-friendly Games

• Chat: Time for Fellowship, often happens along with the Games

• Chew: Dinner (usually around 6PM), including "Ants on a Log" and other wiggly goodies

• Create: Usually craft-based, tonight involving a Scavenger Hunt

• Celebrate: A short, spirited worship usually involving song and movement

All are welcome! Adults, teenagers, children, caregivers, grandparents, siblings... come as friends, family, partners, or on your own.
