Polar Vortex 1 - Pipes 0

Dear Members and Friends of St. Stephen,

We wish to make you aware of a situation affecting the church building. On Friday morning, we discovered that sometime during the period of sub-zero temperatures earlier this week, a pipe froze and burst in the attic above the Narthex, causing ceiling and water damage in the Narthex and hallway.

A water cleanup and restoration company is already in the building addressing the damage and cleanup, and we're moving forward with the insurance company. It will be several weeks before the process is complete.

The good news: We are open for worship! Please come at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow (Sunday Feb 3rd) for our regular morning worship with one change: the location has been moved to the Fellowship Hall. Please use the parking lot and enter the building through the west entrance door (near the Fellowship Hall).

Council members will be here to answer your questions.
