The Christian Wellness Ministry (CWM) page is now "live". It mirrors the CWM brochure, and outlines the services available. The CWM page can be accessed from the websites of the participating churches; here on the Saint Stephen website, there's a link on the Home Page, an option under "About Us", and one under "Links".

Catholic Charities is offering a "Legal Aspects of Aging" seminar at Saint Stephen Lutheran Church on Tuesday, March 12th at 2pm. A representative from Prairie State Legal Services will cover Power of Attorney, Wills, and Advance Directives. Open to Seniors 60+. RSVP: Kari Pohar at 847-740-6708.

Several people have asked if the "Wellness Walks" fellowship-and-fitness ministry will continue for 2019. We're happy to report that we will resume the walks in late May or early June. As before, dates and times TBD based on the participants.
Speaking of walking, the "Walk to Jerusalem" is now underway. This active program has members of all three congregations joining to walk the entire distance from Antioch to Jerusalem during Lent. Grab a tracking sheet and join in!
... and speaking (again!) of walking in faith, Melannie Fuhrmann is seeking help for the "Relay for Life", which is usually held in July. As most know this is a fund raising event for cancer research. We support Melannie in this effort! Please contact Melannie if you are able to help or would like to participate in this year's walk.
