Messy Church: "God's Dirt - Our Hands!"

Join us for our next session of "Messy Church" on Wednesday May 22nd from 5:30pm until ??? (Maybe 7:30pm - 8pm-ish...)

The theme is "God's Dirt - Our Hands!", which is very appropriate since the "craft" for the evening will be planting our raised bed gardens to grow produce for the Food Pantry at Open Arms this summer. Last year, the clients of the Food Pantry were always VERY happy to be able to receive fresh produce (especially leafy greens and tomatoes) whenever it was available, since they normally get only canned veggies. Door open at 5:30pm for schmoozing and socializing. Dinner will be served at 6pm, followed by some faith-building perspective by Pastor Rebecca. Finally, we'll head outside to apply the "lessons learned" from last year (which was our first year with these raised beds) and prep & re-plant the beds for this new growing season. As always: "Come when you can... leave when you must".

Oh BTW: When you're next at church, take a look just to the left of the main doors as you are about to leave. These pink Sticky-Notes are requested food items to help make up the dinner at Messy Church. Please consider grabbing one or two, purchasing the items, and bringing them with as you return Wednesday evening to help make a great dinner possible. Thank you!
